The only alteration i made was making the bottom front a little narrower than in the pattern to avoid the fabric gathering up on the legs. Also I believe the top sizes are on the larger side. The subject is 32-34 C and I had to go with top size S instead of M as is in the chart so they might be a little big in sizes. The instruction video is excellent. I used a smaller size to double the skirt sections for mor volume and added a little pleat in the back. I did have to make it longer and even out the hem since I am curvier than most, but it wasn't difficult to do. There aren't any notations on the pattern to tell you where the grain should be, so beginner seamstresses be aware of that. Otherwise a great purchase.
